There's a new venue in Edimbra called GIG on Lothian Rd and Zane Lowe is coming this Friday the 28th Oct with Sweden's Shout Out Louds! I recommend you get your tix at Ripping Records for a fiver. It's listed as Zane Lowe.

Help: A Day In The Life is the new War Child Album marking the tenth anniversary of the first Help album which since its release in 1995 has helped raise 1.25 million pounds to help children caught in the atrocities of the Bosnian war and became the fastest No.1 album in British music history. The album will be available to download at http://www.warchildmusic.com from lunchtime Friday 9th September 2005. Tracks cost 99 pence per download. A Day in the Life will be released on CD on Monday 26th September. The contributing artists are : Mylo, Radiohead, Go! Team, The Magic Numbers, Manics, Kaiser Chiefs, Belle & Sebastian, Emmanuel Jal, Gorillaz, Keane, Tinariwen, Antony And The Johnsons, Elbow, Damien Rice, The Zutons, The Coral, Maximo Park, Hard-Fi, Bloc Party and Razorlight.

I should've plugged this way back but better late than never and I like a bit of space at gigs anyhoo. Fat Freddy's Drop are playing The Liquid Room in Edinburgh tonight.
